Unusual Cause of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Abstract

|
Numerous causes of the carpal tunnel syndrome have been reported, but hype-rtrophic change of median nerve at wrist has been rarely reported.
The authors have experienced a case of carpal tunnel syndrome due to bilateral hypertrophic changes of the median nerve.
This case was treated by complete excision of transverse carpal figment.
